Strange bug causes Operators to be naked in Black Ops Cold War

Andrew Highton

A new BOCW glitch is causing Operators to be less than modest during multiplayer matches. The mysterious bug removes the player’s clothes and leaves them looking rather embarrassed.

Running around a map wearing as little armor as possible is ill-advised. You want to be limiting the damage that can be inflicted on you, not increase it.

But this new error is starting players off with fewer clothes than would be considered standard, and in some cases, it’s even removing their eyes too.

The Naked Gun

Another day, another truly incredible Call of Duty bug that will surely come to Treyarch‘s attention. The newest one could actually be one of the weirdest and funniest the series has ever seen.

The best part about the glitch is that it doesn’t seem exclusive to just one player. First, Reddit user ay21690 was minding their own business and messing around with their character. All of a sudden, their avatar suddenly decided to embrace nature and strip down.

The most terrifying thing about this picture is the lack of eyes. Losing your clothes is one thing, but losing your eyeballs? Not the prettiest image.

Reddit user Infernode5 documented their similar experience, although instead of this happening in the main menu, it occurred during an actual game.

As you can see, Infernode5 is getting ready to play a game on Armada, when they notice their friend looking suitably unprepared for the match as the player is wearing nothing but a bra and shorts.

Right now, we’re not sure what the cause of the issue is. But given that we have two different instances of this happening, it’s fair to assume this may be a common bug that we’ll be seeing more of until it’s patched out of the game.
