Will Star Wars Jedi: Survivor have multiplayer or co-op?
Star Wars Jedi: Surivior is the bigger and bolder follow-up to 2019’s Fallen Order, but is developer Respawn Entertainment planning to include a multiplayer or co-op option this time around?
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a smash hit when it arrived four years ago and was widely regarded as one of the best games set in the sci-fi universe to date. Now, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is on the way to continue the story of Cal Kestis and his crew.
The devs are looking to go even bigger and better in the sequel, adding in new combat stances and fan-requested features like a fast travel system. So, will co-op or multiplayer be coming to the game this time around?

Does Star Wars Jedi: Survivor have co-op or multiplayer
Jedi: Survivor is another deep dive into the Star Wars universe, but will there be multiplayer or co-op? Developer Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that there will be no multiplayer or co-op options in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor when it launches on on April 28. Survivor’s page on the official Star Wars website clearly describes the sequel as another “narratively-driven, single player title.”
Much like the original, the game is built to be played solo, without the help of friends. Jedi: Survivor features carefully built maps littered with combat encounters against droids, raiders, and monsters that are designed to make use of Cal’s abilities.
The devs clearly feel that adding another Jedi into the mix would take away from the overall experience.
However, there has been no comment from EA or Respawn so far about the possibility of multiplayer or co-op arriving post-launch as a separate mode, so there’s always a chance that the features could be in development.
That being said, given that Jedi: Fallen Order remained single-player only, and there are reports that a standalone Star Wars multiplayer game is in the works from the same developer, it does seem unlikely.
