Pysonix have officially announced Rocket League Season 5, which will include the new Starbase Arc: Aftermath arena variant, Heatseeker Richochet LTM, a new Rocket Pass, and more.

Rocket League is a simple concept in theory — soccer with cars. However straightforward it may be, Rocket League has become a hugely successful title with a dedicated community of players.

These Rocket League fans are always excited for more content, and Psyonix have officially announced the game’s Season 5, with a new arena variant, limited-time mode, Rocket Pass, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about Rocket League Season 5.

What’s coming in Rocket League Season 5?

There’s plenty for Rocket League fans to sink their teeth into in Season 5. Starbase Arc is getting a special Aftermath arena variant, as the classic map has been invaded by an evil force.

Elsewhere, a new Rocket Pass is set to drop, headlined by the Nexus car with items like Spacedirt Paint Finish, Hyperspace animated decal, and Cosmosis Explosion.

The Heatseeker Ricochet LTM will put give the mode a twist on three new Rocket Labs arenas, while there are also more quality of life improvements, and Season 4 Competitive Rewards to come.

When does Rocket League Season 5 release?

The best news is that players won’t have long to wait for this major update, as Rocket League Season 5 will kick off on November 16.

The patch will drop at 4 PM PST / 7PM EST / 12 AM GMT (November 17) / 11AM AEDT (November 17).


With Rocket League’s new season officially on the horizon, more details on the game’s Rocket Pass and arena variant are expected to be released in the run-up to kick off.
