Report: Leaked files suggest Demo Hammer melee weapon coming to Black Ops 4
As seen in the Black Ops 4 Operation Grand Heist trailer, the Demo Hammer melee weapon will soon be releasing in Black Ops 4. A video file containing a promotional trailer for the Demo Hammer was discovered in the files of Black Ops 4’s February 21st PC update.
The video file is internally named . This confirms that it will in-fact be a melee weapon, though the trailer does suggest that it consumes shotgun shells.
Similar to the Ruger Mini-14 Sniper Rifle which was also just leaked, there are currently no image assets which can be extracted for this weapon at the time of writing.
The exact functionality of the Demo Hammer is not yet known at this time. The trailer shows the weapon being loaded with shotgun shells, though its unknown if this is only for aesthetic.
Treyarch has yet to confirm the Mini-14’s addition to Black Ops 4. However, given the presence of these files its likely to be added in the near future. Stay tuned.
