Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fans have been spoilt with frequent Tera Raid Battle events since the game launched. Recently, players got to enjoy events for Decidueye, Samurott, and Typhlosion.
Now, Blissey joins Typhlosion in the spotlight for another packed weekend. Tera Raid Battles are a great way of encountering powerful Pokemon and stocking up on reward items before the Scarlet and Violet DLC introduces some new Pokemon.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Blissey Tera Raid event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Blissey Tera Raid Battle dates in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
The new Blissey Tera Raid Battle event is taking place in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet from April 21 to April 23.
Unlike the Typhlosion Raid, Blissey’s event is considered a 5-Star Raid event. This means that Blissey will appear in a wide variety of Tera Types and you’ll be able to catch as many as you like.
As Serebii anticipated, the Blissey Tera Raid event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet features, “increased Exp. Candy and Tera Shard rewards with some Blissey spawns having even more Tera Shards.”
Players were extremely pleased to hear of the increased Exp. Candy, with some calling the event the biggest candy farm the game has seen yet.
How to beat Blissey Tera Raid Battle event in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Luckily, there is a trick to beating Blissey with ease. For all of Blissey’s HP and Special Defense, the Pokemon boasts a measly Defense stat. This means that bringing a physical attacker to the Blissey Tera Raid event is highly recommended.
Blissey is one of the bulkiest Pokemon around with a monstrous pair of incredibly high Special Defense and HP stats. Taking on Blissey will certainly be a challenge due to the Pokemon being one of the most frightening specially defensive walls in the entire franchise.
Of course, with Blissey encounters being available in a variety of Tera Types, there’s no surefire way to prepare when it comes to type effectiveness. Nonetheless, a Pokemon with an excellent Attack stat and decent type coverage should do the trick.
