Pokemon Go is already celebrating its new in-game event around the world. A Mystic Hero will let players help Team Mystic Leader Blanche with her research for a chance to get some interesting rewards.

Pokemon Go A Mystic Hero event dates
The Pokemon Go A Mystic Hero event is taking place from Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 10 AM to Monday, April 17, 2023, at 8 PM local time.
The Rising Heroes season of Pokemon Go will end on June 1.Pokemon Go A Mystic Hero event Special Research story
As announced with the Rising Heroes season, Pokemon Go players are now able to participate in a Special Research story featuring Blanche during A Mystic Hero. “Trainers who complete the research will be rewarded with an encounter with Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory”, reads the official blog post.
Lucky trainers might encounter shiny Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory, so be on the lookout. This will be the only way to encounter this particular Lapras this season, but it might return in some form in the future.
Pokemon Go A Mystic Hero event Field & Timed Research
During A Mystic Hero, Pokemon Go players are also able to complete Field Research tasks focused on evolving and catching Pokemon. Trainers can earn Stardust and very sought-after evolution items as rewards.

Pokemon Go A Mystic Hero event bonuses
These bonuses will be active during the Pokemon Go A Mystic Hero event:
- 2x XP for evolving Pokémon.
- Two guaranteed Candy XL for evolving Pokémon.
- All Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
While it’s not mentioned in the official blog, Golden Lures won’t receive any bonus during this event.
