Overwatch 2 players would like to see a feature from the new Halloween limited-time mode Wrath of the Bride in the game’s Competitive ranked mode.

Overwatch 2’s latest update has brought the Halloween Terror event to the game, introducing a new LTM and skins in the store.

While some of the community are yet again disappointed with the cost of skins in the store, especially considering the amount gained from completing challenges, others are intrigued by a feature seen in the Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride Arcade mode.

The new Wrath of the Bride Halloween mode is a co-op PvE experience, bringing together four Heroes to stop the Bride of Junkenstein. This PvE experience could be similar to the future Overwatch 2 story mode, giving players an insight into the PvE experience for the game.

One of the features in this mode sees all of the Hero’s health bars in the bottom left of the in-game UI, allowing players to keep track of their teammates health.

Overwatch 2 players want health bar feature in Competitive

Reddit user Rawnder highlighted this feature in a post to the Overwatch subreddit, stating that they “need this bar system in [their] competitive matches.”

Clearly, others in the community would also like to see this teammate health bar UI feature in Overwatch 2’s PvP modes, especially Competitive, as one comment under the post reads “agreed I really like this.”

Another comment even adds another suggestion for the feature that would make it “perfect,” suggesting that as well as health bars, there should be an “ult indicator there as well.”

There’s no doubt that this would help players know when to make a coordinated push or not, using the teammate’s health and Ultimate percentage information to make a decision. Currently, players can check their teammate’s Ultimate charge on the scoreboard, but this UI integration would make it a lot easier and quicker to check.

Others in the comments feel that this feature would be great for Support Heroes, with one user saying “As a support player, that would be awesome.”

Who knows just how Overwatch 2 will evolve over time, with Season 2 of the game on the horizon. Check out our piece on the potential Tank Hero that could be introduced in Overwatch 2 Season 2.
