A strange new bug in Call of Duty: Vanguard is causing players to rage as their Operator’s limbs are out of control.

Call of Duty: Vanguard has built a reputation for various glitches and issues, as it seems every update brings a strange new addition to the bug list, like the recent Spider-Man glitch.

Now, the community is reporting a new bug that leaves Operators punching themselves in the face while in-game. This is making it impossible for players to see what’s in front of them, which isn’t the best showcase for those taking advantage of the two free weeks.

Despite the devs working extremely hard to rid Vanguard of its issues, especially since Ranked Play was introduced, players continue to find odd bugs.

Reddit user Muted_Eye8259 highlighted a bug that causes the player’s Operator to block their field of view with their own arm.

The player refers to the glitch as the “Hand glitch,” stating that it is “out of control” in the clip. Supposedly this glitch was in Modern Warfare, as one of the comments pointed out. This would make sense considering the fact that Vanguard uses the same engine as Modern Warfare and Warzone.

Players in the comment section have had similar experiences with this glitch, and some are even claiming that it stems from the Sten SMG:

“Yeh I think it is that gun specifically when I was doing camos for it I lost a lot of 1 on 1s because I couldn’t see anything but arm/hand. Game by this point is laughably bad.”

Hopefully, the devs can fix this issue as soon as possible so that players can use the Sten once again and those playing the free trial can enjoy Vanguard until April 13.

If you’re looking forward to the future of Call of Duty, check out Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare II, which were officially announced not too long ago.
