The Battle Pass Light Cone system in Honkai Star Rail

Honkai Star Rail players can purchase the Battle Pass and get one of the seven Light Cones available in it. Choosing the right Light Cone for your characters can be confusing, so we’ve ranked all the Battle Pass Light Cones in Honkai Star Rail to help you identify the best options.

Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact have many similarities, ranging from a fixed banner cycle for characters and the availability of Light Cones/weapons in the Battle Pass.

While the gacha system that expects you to spend Stellar Jade is the most common way to acquire new Light Cones, you can also purchase the Battle Pass and get your hands on some powerful four-star weapons.

The Nameless Glory version of the Honkai Star Rail Battle Pass offers seven Light Cones, and here’s a ranked list to help you choose the best Light Cone for your characters.

How to get Light Cones from Honkai Star Rail Battle Pass

You have to purchase the premium Honkai Star Rail Battle Pass called Nameless Glory for $9.99/£9.99 and reach level 30 to get the option to unlock a Light Cone. There are seven unique options belonging to the different Paths in the game.

All Honkai Star Rail Battle Pass Light Cones

Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds

  • Path – Harmony
  • Effect – Increases ATK, Crit DMG, or Energy Regeneration of all allies at the start of battle or when the wearer performs an action.

None of the effects provided by the Light Cone are enjoyed by the wearer, which means that it is ideal for support characters. If you have Asta, Bronya, or Tingyun, Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds can significantly improve their supporting abilities.

This Is Me!

  • Path – The Preservation
  • Effect – Increases the DMG of the wearer when they use their Ultimate by 60% of the wearer’s DEF. This effect only applies 1 time per enemy target.

This is Me! is tailor-made for characters like March 7th and Fu Xuan, who require high DEF to function properly and can deal damage through their Ultimate skills.

Return to Darkness

  • Path – The Hunt
  • Effect – Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 12%. After a CRIT Hit, there is a 16% fixed chance to dispel 1 buff on the target enemy. This effect can only trigger 1 time per attack.

This is an aggressive Light Cone that grants Crit Rate and stops elite enemies from gaining buffs like ATK and DEF boosts. The best characters for this Light Cone include Dan Heng and Yanqing.

Nowhere to Run

  • Path – The Destruction
  • Effect – Increases the wearer’s ATK by 24%. Whenever the wearer defeats an enemy, they restore HP equal to 12% of their ATK.

This is another offensive Light Cone that works best with Clara because she constantly takes damage, and the HP restoration after defeating an enemy is ideal.

Today is Another Peaceful Day

  • Path – The Erudition
  • Effect – After entering battle, increases the wearer’s DMG based on their Max Energy. DMG increases by 0.20% per point of Energy, up to 160 Energy.

Today is Another Peaceful Day works fine with characters that require high Energy to operate. Herta, Himeko, Serval, and Qingque can use this Light Cone for some amazing damage buffs.

Warmth Shortens Cold Nights

  • Path – The Abundance
  • Effect – Increases the wearer’s Max HP by 16%. When using Basic ATK or Skill, restores all allies’ HP by an amount equal to 2.0% of their respective Max HP.

Natasha, Lynx, Bailu, and Luocha are currently the only characters who can utilize the Light Cone and it works brilliantly. The three characters require as much HP as possible to function properly, and Warmth Shortens Cold Nights does exactly this.

We Will Meet Again

  • Path – The Nihility
  • Effect – After the wearer uses Basic ATK or Skill, deals Additional DMG equal to 48% of the wearer’s ATK to a random enemy that has been attacked.

Pela, Sampo, and Welt are three characters that can use ‘We Will Meet Again’ in Honkai Star Rail. Although these characters can utilize the damage buff, none of them are dedicated damage dealers, which is why other Nihility Light Cones work better than We Will Meet Again in most scenarios.
