New meta Warzone 2 LMG replaces RPK as “easiest” gun to use

Warzone 2’s Season 2 update nerfed the RPK, and Call of Duty expert IceManIsaac has revealed which powerful LMG is the new meta weapon that has surpassed the RPK.

When the Season 2 update finally went live in Warzone 2, the Call of Duty title’s meta was shaken up by the addition of brand-new weapons alongside buffs and nerfs to many existing guns.

The popular RPK was one of the weapons that were hit with nerfs in the Season 2 update, and Warzone 2 expert IceManIsaac has highlighted another LMG that can take its place as the new meta weapon.

In his video, IceManIsaac pointed out that the Sakin MG38 boasts better bullet velocity, more damage per mag, and a faster TTK than the RPK. The Sakin kills in 736 milliseconds which is faster than the RPK’s TTK of 800 milliseconds.

It has 3000 damage per mag while the RPK has 2295. The bullet velocity is 1570 while the RPK has 1346. IceManIsaac stated: “This gun is just lasering. This is one of the easiest guns I’ve ever had to use.”

IceManIsaac’s zero recoil Warzone 2 Sakin MG38 loadout

Barrel: 20″ Bruen Silver Series Barrel
Underbarrel: Cronen WL55
Optic: Aim Op-V4
Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
Ammunition: 7.62 High Velocity

This Warzone 2 loadout uses the 20″ Bruen Silver Series barrel to increase the weapon’s bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control. The Cronen WL55 underbarrel helps with stability and recoil steadiness.

IceManIsaac equipped the AIM OP-V4 optic as it’s a nice clean sight that allows you to target distant opponents, and the 7.62 High Velocity rounds can shred through enemies. Finally, the FSS OLE-V Laser improves your ADS speed and sprint-to-fire speed.

With these attachments equipped, he was able to eliminate recoil and use the Sakin MG38 to take out enemies with accuracy. This weapon can easily target enemies, and IceManIsaac described it as “plenty snappy like the RPK.”
