As hype continues to grow in anticipation for Battlefield 6, prominent leaker Tom Henderson has revealed the likely location that the game’s first trailer will be set in, along with a window for its release.

Battlefield remains one of the most popular FPS titles in history, with fans flocking to DICE’s sprawling masterpieces to take part in combat unlike any other game on the market. The prospect of a new Battlefield game is capturing the imaginations of players and streamers alike, with Dr Disrespect already excited at the idea of a possible battle royale.

With so much hype, it’s no surprise that people are searching for every little snippet of Battlefield 6 information they can find, and Tom Henderson has been one of the most active leakers for the game so far.

Having already suggested that part of the trailer will be set on a desert island, Henderson now claims that there will also be parts taking place in Japan, posting his theory on Twitter along with the news that the trailer is likely not far away.

In tweets posted on April 12, Henderson sketched out one of the shots from the upcoming trailer, showing the view of a pilot in a helicopter looking towards some sort of rocket launch.

He then posted another image, this time a more zoomed-out shot of the same location. Showing a coastline, the rockets are still visible; however, planes and helicopters are swarming towards the location.

A massive storm or tornado can be seen heading straight for the area, perhaps kicking off the story of Battlefield 6, although that hasn’t been confirmed.

Henderson finally posted a link to Google Earth, revealing that this portion appears to be set in Japan. The rocket launch seems to be taking place at the Tanegashima Space Center, found on a small island south of Japan.

The shoreline in the sketch looks almost identical to this location, leading many to believe this will be an exact recreation of the area.

In terms of when we’ll actually see the trailer, Henderson claims the release is “imminent,” but refrained from giving us an exact release date. EA have an investor call on Tuesday, May 11, so it’s likely we will see it before then, or possibly the day after the meeting.

Of course, as with any leaks, all this information needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, as things can change and the details may not be completely accurate. Thankfully, with Battlefield 6 scheduled for a Holiday 2021 release, we shouldn’t have long to wait for answers.
