Modern Warfare & Cold War guns return as ground loot in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded
Raven Software have officially announced that both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weapons will be returning to ground loot in the Warzone Pacific Season 5 Reloaded.
The Warzone Pacific Season 5 Reloaded update is set to bring a ton of changes and new content to the game. As well as balance updates to the meta, new weapons, and a change in the Loadout Drop price, the devs have also made changes to the ground loot.
For some time now, both Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weapons have been removed from the ground loot weapon pool.
However, ahead of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0‘s release, the Season 5 Reloaded update sees these game’s weapons return to ground loot and the Gulag loadouts.
In addition to the BP50 and the Lienna 57 LMG entering the loot pool, the devs have announced that players can expect a “whole new Ground Loot and Gulag loadout experience.”
Expanding on this, the devs explain that as a celebration of the “breadth of Weapons” that Warzone has to offer, players will now find some of the “greatest hits from Modern Warfare, Black Ops, and Vanguard in Ground Loot.”
This means that starting from Warzone Pacific Season 5 Reloaded, players will be able to find Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard weapons in ground loot and Gulag loadouts.
This is great for players who have been missing the Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons, especially since Vanguard has not only dominated the meta but also been the only weapons that players can find on the ground for a while now.
This will allow players to get nostalgic and enjoy all the weapons Warzone has to offer before Warzone 2.0 lands with an inventory reset and all of Modern Warfare 2’s weapons.
