Modern Warfare 2 scope will make sniping ridiculously easy in Warzone 2

Captain Price sniping in Modern Warfare 2

With Modern Warfare 2 featuring so many great Sniper Rifles, sniping is set to be extremely deadly in Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah. But it’s only about to get easier thanks to a scope revealing the bullet drop and telling players exactly where to aim.

Sniping was one of the most popular playstyles in the original Warzone, allowing players to quickly down enemies at long range without risk. Warzone 2 releases on November 16, taking all of Modern Warfare 2‘s incredible Sniper Rifles to the huge Al Mazrah map.

We expect sniping to be one of the most effective playstyles to rack up wins in Al Mazrah, but a scope that reveals the bullet drop, telling players exactly where to aim, will make it even easier.

Part of the skill in sniping is learning the weapon’s bullet velocity and drop so you can predict exactly where to aim to land that easy one-shot headshot. But, if you use a specific scope in Warzone 2, you’ll be able to see exactly where your bullet will land.

As pointed out by top YouTuber JGOD, the Raptor-FVM40 has a little red dot on the crosshair that reveals the bullet drop, telling players exactly where the bullet will land. As we can see in his video, the dot is directly in the center when aiming up close, but drops down at further ranges.

To use it, players just have to aim at their target and press the hold breath button which sets the range and reveals the bullet drop. Incredibly, it increases the weapon’s aim down sight speed too.

With how massive Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah map is set to be, this should make long-range sniping ridiculously easy as the scope is doing a ton of the work.

But so far, this attachment is only available in private matches so it’s expected to be included with the missing Victus XMR Sniper Rifle.

After it was found during campaign early access, players expected the Victus to arrive at launch but because it didn’t, they’re now hedging their bets on it arriving during Season 1.
