Thanks to an underrated Modern Warfare 2 Field Upgrade, one player shared a high IQ play that’s perfect for dominating Search & Destroy.

Modern Warfare 2 is currently in its second season with the Season 2 Reloaded update right around the corner. As players continue to enjoy the classic multiplayer experience with new initiatives like the 10vs10 playlist, some are finding new and creative ways to dominate.

When Modern Warfare 2 launched, it introduced several new Field Upgrades to CoD fans. While most stuck with fan favorites like Dead Silence and the Trophy System, some players discovered genius ways to utilize these new tools.

Modern Warfare 2 Tactical Camera trick

In a clip posted to the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit, one player utilizes the Tactical Camera Field Upgrade to perfection in Search & Destroy.

Search & Destroy is all about acquiring information and as the clip showcases, the Tactical Camera is the perfect Field Upgrade for the mode.

The player utilizing the Tactical Camera essentially creates free wallhacks. They place the Tactical Camera in the ideal spot to gather information on the bomb site. Meanwhile, the player waits close by to mop up easy kills on confused players.

Most in the comments had their minds blown at how easy it seems to use the Tactical Camera: “Ok this is genius I am takin the tac cam with me lol. I keep forgetting you can put it on the ceiling and not just walls lol.”

Another player dubbed the clip as a true “R6 Siege moment.” The Tactical Camera has flown under the radar in Modern Warfare 2, but in slow-paced game modes like Search & Destroy it can truly shine.

As one player put it, the “tac cam is honestly such an underrated, yet overpowered tactical. Throw it on a site, go to the other one, and watch for that white bar to turn yellow.”

This formula is so powerful that the player in the clip was accused of cheating, and given that they claimed to have finished the game with a record of 31-6, it’s easy to see why.
