After using the Chopper Gunner, a Modern Warfare 2 player received free wallhacks thanks to a UI bug with the Killstreak.

Modern Warfare 2 has an abundance of weapons, Perks, Field Upgrades, and Killstreaks for players to use, all attributing to whatever playstyle suits them best.

Some players love to play more patiently and go on long killstreaks to earn Stealth Bomber, Overwatch Helos, and Chopper Gunners.

While some Killstreaks like the Advanced UAV and standard UAV allow players to see the location of enemies on the minimap, one player experienced a bug that gave them free wallhacks.

Reddit user Uncress shared a clip of a Modern Warfare 2 Chopper Gunner bug which gave them wallhacks.

It seems the UI of the Chopper Gunner Killstreak glitched and “stayed on for the whole game,” allowing them to see exactly where the enemies were located.

Clearly, this is a bug that needs to be removed from the game, as it gives the player a seriously unfair advantage, being able to see exactly where the enemies are coming from and spawning.

Comments under the post suggest that this glitch can happen with other equipment in the game as well, as one user says “This happens to me constantly when using the camera field equipment. Except it doesn’t let you see through walls, just the annoying filter sticks.”

Another user also says that this happened to them “while using the tank in ground war,” however it wasn’t nearly as powerful as the wallhacks gained from the Chopper Gunner.

We’ll have to wait and see when the devs decided to patch this issue. Until then, check out Scump’s banned Modern Warfare 2 Kastov 74u loadout.
