Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered has performed well in the sales numbers for Activision since its March 31 launch on PlayStation 4.

SuperData, a digital data analytical firm, has stated in a new update on the worldwide market that Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered has surpassed 3.4M units sold in the month of April.

And, based off the reports from SuperData, Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, launching in just one day in March, sold almost 622,000 copies that month on PS4.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered showed there is still demand for single-player Call of Duty experiences by selling 3.4M units in April. The remaster of the single-player portion of the 2009 title also sold 622K copies the previous month (it did not launch until March 30). The game will likely perform well on Xbox One and PC over the course of May, since it was exclusive to PlayStation 4 until April 30.

We won’t know the full extent of its popularity till May’s data comes in, as the game launched on Xbox One and PC on the last day of April.

NPD Firm also released their data for the games market sales of April, which showed Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered as the #7 best selling game overall in April, and the #2 best selling game overall on Xbox One for the month. PC data not available fully because of it being sold on first party store, Battle net.
