Minecraft Legends is the franchise’s first action RPG where you take on the piglins and unite the Overworld in the process. If you want to play the game on PC, make sure to check out the minimum and recommended requirements for Minecraft Legends.

The Overworld in Minecraft has become a home to millions of players and their unique houses in the past ten years. Following the release of Minecraft Dungeons, Mojang is all set to introduce the players to a Legend that explains the current state of the Overworld.

Minecraft Legends is a part of the Xbox Game Pass and it is safe to assume that a ton of players will try out this multiplayer game on their PCs. However, before finalizing the purchase, it is wise to check the game’s requirements and see how they fare with your hardware.

On that note, here are Minecraft Legends’ minimum and recommended PC requirements.

These are the minimum requirements that your PC will need to fulfill for running Minecraft Legends on the lowest settings:

  • 64-bit processor and operating system.
  • OS – Windows 10 (updated in May 2020 or higher) or Windows 11
  • Processor – Core i5 2.8GHz or equivalent

To run Minecraft Legends like it’s intended to on your PC, the GPU and CPU must meet these requirements:

  • 64-bit processor and operating system.
  • OS – Windows 10 (updated in May 2020 or higher) or Windows 11
  • Processor – Core i5 3.4GHz or equivalent
  • Memory – 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics –  NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD FX-4100 Graphics
  • DirectX – Version 12
  • A stable Wi-Fi connection if you want to try out multiplayer.
  • Storage – 24 GB available space

The specs mentioned above are from the official Steam page for Minecraft Legends.

When compared to other 2023 releases such as Redfall, Dead Island 2, Diablo 4, and Hogwarts Legacy, the PC requirements for Minecraft Legends definitely do not seem like a lot. This is because the game is still set in the pixelated world of Minecraft that focuses more on core gameplay mechanics and creative freedom than graphics.

As of now, it is unknown if you can add shaders and texture packs to Minecraft Legends like the original game to improve visuals.
