Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu has exploded in popularity with people desperately wanting to know her official height. The game’s Art Director has revealed all to please her fans – including gaming personality Mark “Markiplier” Fischbach.

The imposing and towering figure of Resident Evil Village’s new villain has caused a stir on social media and the internet in general. Her reveal came during the Resident Evil 8 showcase event that debuted new gameplay footage and key details.

We don’t quite think Capcom – or anyone else for that matter – realized how significant the appearance of Lady Dimitrescu was going to be. Within hours, she was immortalized with memes and fan art, with the same question was repeated by many, how tall was she?

The introduction of herself and the Three Witches has arguably become the talk of Resident Evil Village with fans eager to meet her up close and personal in the game. Even though the game is still a few months away from release, news of her real-height is sure to be a joy to many.

Resident Evil Village’s Art Director Tomonori Takano took to Twitter to give fans the news they have been feverously enquiring about.

He said, “Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters have received a fair amount of attention, far more than we anticipated. It’s great that they’re able to take the spotlight as icons of Resident Evil Village. Lady Dimitrescu, especially, has received much fanfare both domestically and overseas, which has made all of us in the development team extremely happy. I hear her height is something of interest…

If you include her hat and high heels, she’s 2.9m (approxmiately 9’6″) tall.”

So just to reiterate in case you believe your eyes may have deceived you, Lady Dimitrescu is in fact 9ft 6in tall!

This will surely satisfy all of her newly-acquired fans, in particular, YouTube personality Markiplier. The renowned figure has made no secret of his immediate love for the character and responded to the official tweet.

This light-hearted gift to the gaming community is a nice little treat and hopefully restores the positive vibes towards the game after a sad week in which Resident Evil Village actress Jeanette Maus passed away.
