Call of Duty stats expert JGOD has revealed the best close-range weapon that you can use in Warzone Pacific Season 2 following the MP40 nerf.
Warzone Pacific Season 2 brought a ton of weapon balancing updates that have altered the game’s meta, with the most notable change being the nerf to the MP40 SMG which is an extremely popular weapon.
Call of Duty expert JGOD discussed all the other options that are available to players looking for an MP40 replacement, revealing the best close-range weapon that you can use in Warzone Pacific season 2.
Since the MP40 has become weaker in Warzone Pacific Season 2, players have been wondering where the close-range meta is heading next, so JGOD broke down the changes in a new video.
He revealed that the best close-range loadout he has is with the Type 100 since this gun has the fastest TTK in Warzone Season 2 along with the best hip-fire build of all the Vanguard weapons.

JGOD believes that the gun will dominate the close-range meta until it gets hit with a major nerf from the developers. However, he also named other weapons like the Welgun as close runner-ups in case that happens.
