JGOD reveals best Warzone NZ-41 loadout after meta-changing buffs
Warzone’s NZ-41 Assault Rifle received major buffs in the June 2 patch, and YouTuber JGOD has provided the best loadout and explained why it’s a meta pick in Season 3 Reloaded.
Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded brought even more weapon changes, pushing Cold War and Modern Warfare guns out of the meta and bringing Vanguard’s weapons to the fore. While the STG44 has been the most popular gun so far, the NZ-41 has been climbing the ranks thanks to major buffs in the June 2 update.
Warzone expert and YouTuber JGOD has revealed the best NZ-41 loadout and explained how the devs made it “one of the best weapons in the entire game.”
Warzone’s June 2 update introduced the Champion of Caldera mode, nerfed Restock, and brought some major bug fixes. However, the most impactful change appears to be to the NZ-41, seeing its range and bullet velocity increase alongside a recoil reduction.
After YouTuber TrueGameData revealed that the NZ-41 has a faster TTK than the meta STG loadout, JGOD explained that thanks to its easy-to-control recoil, “you’re going to be able to laser this gun,” beaming enemies at range.
Also, damage-per-mag has become an extremely important stat since the major health changes and the NZ-41 outshines the STG in this category as well.

Interestingly, the LOR Mk1 Burst Barrel is the best choice for the NZ-41. While this barrel turns the NZ into a burst rifle, you can toggle the mode to full-auto and take advantage of its improved damage range and accuracy, and JGOD explained that it won’t hurt your bullet velocity either.
The other attachments are standard for a Vanguard Assault Rifle build, with the MX Silencer hiding its shots from the minimap and improving range, the Orbweaver E Pack Stock and M1941 Hand Stop keeping the weapon under control, and the G16 2.5x Optic offering more accuracy at range.
Then, JGOD added the 6.5mm Sakura 50 Round Mags and Lengthened Ammo for more ammunition and better bullet velocity, the Hatched Grip and Brace Perk for improved recoil control, and finally Fully Loaded for max ammo.
