Warzone expert JGOD has revealed the best Optic to use in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, which he advises players to use before it gets nerfed.

In both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, there’s an overwhelming abundance of attachments to choose from that can change the nature of a weapon, not to mention the Tuning system as well.

Sometimes, choosing these attachments can be a difficult task, as there are so many different builds to go with, especially when it comes to the most popular weapons.

That said, Warzone expert JGOD has revealed the best Optic you can use in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 to make your attachment decisions a little bit easier.

The Optic in question is the SZ Holotherm, which JGOD states players are “sleeping on.” The SZ Holotherm Optic can be unlocked by getting the PDSW 528 to Level 12, and it provides a great long-range thermal sight that can be toggled on and off.

While the benefits of the clear sight and zoom are obvious for long-ranged LMG and Assault Rifle builds, the main reason JGOD recommends this sight is thanks to a little secret about its thermal feature.

JGOD has discovered that in Season 1 Reloaded, there is currently no counter to the thermal feature, as it seems to be able to detect players in smoke even if they have Cold Blooded.

Cold Blooded is supposed to protect players from “AI targeting systems, and thermal optics,” however, after some testing by JGOD, the Warzone content creator discovered that the Perk doesn’t work against the SZ Holotherm.

This makes the Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 SZ Holotherm Optic a very solid choice for both games, especially when players use smokes in Warzone matches, which is a popular tactic.

So, if you’re looking to use a new Optic on your Warzone 2 or Modern Warfare 2 loadout, definitely be sure to give this a try, as JGOD believes it could be nerfed soon.
