With Warzone Season 6 finally ending, Call of Duty stats expert JGOD has confirmed a major change to the UAV Killstreak that has made it more effective against players using Ghost.

When playing Warzone, you can use UAVs to detect the location of your enemies on the map. If you want to stay hidden from enemy UAVs then you can equip the Ghost Perk in your loadout.

However, JGOD has now confirmed that with Warzone Season 6 coming to an end, UAVs have gone through a major change, and this will let you detect enemies that are hiding with the Ghost Perk.

When playing Warzone, you can call in three UAVs at the same time to find the locations of enemies on the map. This is known as “stacking” and a new update has made it even more powerful.

JGOD went over these new stealth changes in a new video on his YouTube channel. “With this new change, you’ll be able to see Ghosted players within about 250 to 300 meters,” he explained.

So if enemies are hiding on the map and you want to avoid a surprise attack, you can pinpoint their whereabouts by placing three UAVs at the same time. This “Super UAV” will be particularly helpful for countering Ghost players during late game.

Additionally, Advanced UAVs will now showcase both the location and direction of Ghosted enemies on the map. This will let you know if you’re walking into the opponent’s crosshairs so you can strategize accordingly.

At the time of writing, the developers haven’t explained why they altered the UAVs in Warzone. Even JGOD stated that he doesn’t understand why they made this change seemingly “out of random.”

Regardless, this makes a huge difference during battle, and you should be able to use this tactic in the new Pacific Caldera map when Vanguard Season 1 finally arrives. Hopefully, it will serve you well in combat.
