Is FIFA 22 on Xbox Game Pass?

Good news, FIFA 22 is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as of Thursday, June 23, 2022. Its inclusion had been rumored for some time after XGP spotted the Game Pass logo on the game’s store listing back in April, and EA have now officially confirmed it.

FIFA 22 is being added to the free EA Play library, which is part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Membership. Sadly, this means that anyone with a standard Game Pass subscription will miss out unless they upgrade to the more expensive tier.

How to play FIFA 22 on Xbox Game Pass

In order to play FIFA 22 on Xbox Game Pass, you must purchase an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. These cost $14.99 / £10.99 per month, whereas the standard subscription is only $9.99 / £7.99.

Then, simply head into the Game Pass app on your Xbox Series S/X or Xbox One, and you’ll be able to download or stream FIFA 22 for no extra cost.

Here’s a quick step-by-step recap:

  1. Sign up for an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership
  2. Head over to the Game Pass app on your Xbox console
  3. Search for ‘FIFA 22’ in the bar at the top
  4. Choose whether you want to download or stream FIFA 22 from the cloud
  5. Lace up your boots and take to the pitch

It’s worth noting that even if you download FIFA 22 with Xbox Game Pass, if your subscription should end for whatever reason you will no longer have access to the app.
