How to watch FNCS Season 5 & earn Twitch drops

Epic Games has released more details regarding the FNCS Season 5 schedule and Twitch drops. Here are the details.

After announcing details regarding the FNCS Season 5 prize pool, Epic Games has now released information regarding the exact schedule and rewards viewers will get for watching the championship series this year.

A vast majority of the big-money games will be played on crossplay enabled servers Luckily, Epic has reversed this decision, instead promising a few console-only competitions in the future.

With that said, here’s this seasons breakdown.

Scoring system & Format

This season’s main competitive mode will be Trios. This will likely be the main format going forward for all future seasons. For scoring, it will be based on placements and eliminations. You can see the chat below.

  • Victory Royale: 25 Points
  • 2nd: 20 Points
  • 3rd: 16 Points
  • 4th: 14 Points
  • 5th: 13 Points
  • 6th: 12 Points
  • 7th: 11 Points
  • 8th: 10 Points
  • 9th: 9 Points
  • 10th: 8 Points
  • 11th: 7 Points
  • 12th: 6 Points
  • 13th: 5 Points
  • 14th 4 Points
  • 15th: 3 Points
  • 16th: 2 Points
  • 17th: 1 Point

Each elimination will be worth 1 additional point.

FNCS Schedule

Epic has announced they will be moving away from weekly broadcasts, instead opting to focus on the most important stages of the competition. This will include the final week of qualifiers and finals. The schedule is as follows: (Times are in ET)

Europe

  • 1 PM – Broadcast Begins
  • 1:15 PM – Live Coverage Begins
  • 4:30 PM – Approximate stream end

North America

  • 5:00 PM – Broadcast begins
  • 5:15 PM – Live North America East coverage
  • 8:30 PM – Break
  • 9:15 PM – North America West coverage
  • 12:30 PM – Approximate stream end

Other regions will also have streams, and there will also be streams in languages other than English. You can find those streams here.

Twitch Drops

Epic Games will be offering Twitch Drops once again to players who watch the FNCS live. These drops will come in the form of sprays, stickers and loading screens.

Be sure to enable Twitch drops between your Epic Games and Twitch account. You can link your accounts through the settings tab on Twitch.
