The Team of the Year squad in FIFA 23 includes eleven players, but FUT fans voted for a TOTY 12th Man. EA have revealed the winner of the FIFA 23 TOTY 12th Man vote, so let’s find out who made the cut.

TOTY content has taken over FIFA 23 as the biggest and best Ultimate Team promo of the year hit the game. The FIFA 23 TOTY consists of a full squad of eleven players that put together the best performances throughout 2022.

In addition to the TOTY squad, Ultimate Team fans had the opportunity to vote one last player into the team as the TOTY 12th Man. With eleven coveted TOTY spots, EA gave players one last chance to vote the 12th Man into the official Team of the Year squad.

Without further ado, let’s find out the winner of the TOTY 12th Man in FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 TOTY 12th man winner & nominees

Erling Haaland is the winner of the TOTY 12th man vote in FIFA 23. The prolific Manchester City striker will join the TOTY as the final member of the squad.

The nominees for the FIFA 23 TOTY 12th man included:

Joao Cancelo – Manchester City – LB
Erling Haaland – Manchester City – ST
Federico Valverde – Real Madrid – CM

Haaland received 60% of player votes and beat out fellow nominees Joao Cancelo and Federico Valverde. Players can find the Erling Haaland TOTY card in FIFA 23 as of January 27.

When will the FIFA 23 Team of the Year 12th Man vote start?

Voting for the FIFA 23 12th Man is now closed, but it started on Monday, January 23, 2023.

FIFA 23 players had the opportunity to vote for the TOTY squad. In addition, they also had a chance to vote one last player in as the 12th Man.

How to vote for the TOTY 12th Man in FIFA 23

While voting for the FIFA 23 TOTY squad took place on EA’s official webpage, the 12th Man voting took place either on the companion app or in-game.

Players simply needed to follow these steps to cast their vote:

Log into FIFA 23.
Launch Ultimate Team on your platform of choice or visit the FIFA 23 Companion app.
A screen will appear asking you to cast a vote for the TOTY 12th Man.
Select the nominee.
Cast your vote.
Collect your loan player as a reward.

As a reward, players received a loan card matching the nominee they selected.

In FIFA 22, Cristiano Ronaldo beat out Mohamed Salah and Karim Benzema to sneak into the TOTY as the fan-voted 12th Man. FIFA 23 players decided that Erling Haaland was deserving of the TOTY 12th Man title.
