With Warzone’s latest update in Season 5, the developers have introduced a new system to help players find parties to join up with.

Call of Duty: Warzone players will be happy to hear that the developers are hard at work producing fixes for bugs and issues like the recent King Slayer out of map circles, dropping a new update on August 25.

As well as the new RAAL LMG and the usual bug fixes, the update also introduced a new “looking for party” system, which the developers are saying is currently in beta.

Warzone Season 5 introduced various updates when it launched, but one feature solo players have been needing is a way to find people to play with. Luckily, the latest update may have the solution.

In the August 25 update, players were surprised to see a new “Looking for Party (Beta)” in the patch notes. This new feature is currently in beta, and as the patch notes say, it is still being tested and subject to change.

So, if you have any issues with it, be aware that it is still in development.

What is the Warzone “Looking for Party” feature?

The feature will allow players who haven’t got others to squad up with find new people to play with through a variety of selected preferences.

Some examples of these preferences were given in the patch notes:

  • Game modes
  • Party communication
  • Play style

Some other types of preferences we could see in the future may potentially look like casual, competitive, skill level, K/D ratio, duos, trios, and squads.

All you need to do is click on the Warzone Looking for Party button below the Squad Fill button in the bottom left corner of the lobby screen. You will then be taken to a screen where you can adjust the settings found above to your preference.

Customize these settings and then click the start looking for party button to search for players with similar settings to play with.

Of course, you don’t have to use this option and can continue playing however you like. Having said that, it’s still nice for those who are looking to make new Call of Duty friends to play with, so they’re not always playing on their own.

This is a feature not seen in many other competitive games, although Apex Legends does have its Club feature, which is a similar idea.

Hopefully, multiplayer games continue to bring new features like this to bring more people together in the community. For more on Warzone, check out our article on how to play the Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha.
