How to use fast travel with taxis in GTA Online
GTA Online’s Los Santos is huge, and you can now use taxis to immediately travel to different locations across the map. Here’s how you can use fast travel taxis in GTA Online.
You will find plenty of fun activities to engage in across Los Santos after hopping into GTA Online, including gambling at the Diamond Casino, purchasing cool vehicles, or just causing general mayhem.
Since the map is huge, traveling from one location to the next repeatedly can take up a ton of time. However, it’s now possible to use the GTA Online taxis to fast travel across Los Santos with ease.
How to fast travel ni GTA Online with taxis
You can fast travel in GTA Online by pulling out your phone and calling Downtown Cab Co. to send a taxi to your current location. Once it arrives, you can choose the option to skip to your destination.
Here’s how to use taxi fast travel in GTA Online:
- Take out your phone in GTA Online.
- Call Downtown Cab Co. and wait for your Taxi to arrive.
- Enter the taxi.
- Select your destination.
- Skip to your destination by pressing A/X/Enter.
Once this is done, you’ll immediately reach your intended destination. However, this option isn’t free, as skipping the cab ride will cost $1000. So, you’ll have to be willing to spend some extra cash for this feature.
It’s also worth keeping in mind that you can only fast-travel to certain points of interest across Los Santos. So, this feature won’t work if you mark a waypoint on the map and then attempt to fast travel there.
Additionally, the fast travel skip in GTA Online’s taxis comes with a 48-minute cooldown. Players with a GTA Plus membership only need to wait for five minutes before they can use this feature again.
