Although Black Ops Cold War won’t receive any new seasons in the future, Treyarch aren’t finished with the game yet. The brand-new Vargo 52 Assault Rifle has arrived and is also available in Warzone, so here’s how to get your hands on it.

We’re well into Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 2 now, and even though the new KG M40 and Whitley have arrived, Black Ops Cold War’s weapons are still some of the best.

Cold War was reported to be the “most supported Call of Duty title” ever after Vanguard’s release and the first piece of new content has hit the game. The Vargo 52 Assault Rifle has arrived in multiplayer, and it can be obtained very simply after the March 4 update.

How to unlock Vargo 52 in Cold War & Warzone

Black Ops Cold War’s Vargo 52 can be unlocked by getting 1,000 damage with Assault Rifles in 15 different matches of Cold War’s multiplayer.

You can also unlock the weapon through the Zombies mode by eliminating 750 enemies while using an Assault Rifle that has been Pack-a-Punched three times.

It takes roughly ten kills per match, but you’re better off ensuring you have 15-20 kills – just in case anyone you killed was on low health. But don’t leave the Cold War match before its done, as you’ll lose your progress.

You can also unlock it through a store bundle called the “Ferrofluid” Weapon Blueprint, which is part of the “Tracer Pack: Ferro Fury Reactive Mastercraft” Bundle, which will go live on March 4 in the Black Ops Cold War and Warzone in-game Stores.

The Vargo 52 will also be available to players in Warzone after they unlock it or purchase a bundle with the weapon blueprint.

With how deadly Cold War weapons are in Warzone Pacific, this low-recoil Assault Rifle should be a powerful choice, as Call of Duty state that it boasts “Good damage at mid-range with a fast fire rate.”
