How to unlock Strand subclass in Destiny 2 Lightfall

Destiny 2’s Lightfall expansion has brought new content to check, including a new subclass, and here’s how you can quickly unlock the Strand subclass in Destiny 2 Lightfall.

Destiny 2 receives new content through expansions, and there are plenty of fun additions to check out following the arrival of the Lightfall expansion, including the new location, Neomuna, as well as a new subclass.

You can gain access to the Strand subclass after hopping into the Lightfall expansion, and this can be utilized to give you an advantage during battles. We’ll go over how to unlock the Strand subclass in Destiny 2.

How to get the Strand subclass in Destiny 2 Lightfall

You can unlock the Strand subclass in Destiny 2 by completing the entire Lightfall campaign. You’ll start unlocking the powers in the subclass as soon as you begin the First Contact mission.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Purchase the Lightfall expansion in Destiny 2.
2. Start the Lightfall campaign.
3. Progress through the entire Lightfall campaign.
4. After completing the final campaign mission, head to The Tower.
5. Talk to both Zavala and Ikora.
6. Go to the Hall of Heroes on Neomuna.
7. Meditate to unlock the Strand subclass.

You’ll be prompted to begin the campaign right after you purchase the expansion. If you want to start the campaign at a later point then you can just visit the Director screen and select Neptune at any time.

There are eight different missions for you to complete in the Lightfall campaign, and these will grant you the opportunity to test out the Strand subclass abilities. You’ll continue to unlock and upgrade your abilities as you progress through the campaign.

Strand is an elemental subclass that uses Darkness to manipulate your environment and eliminate your enemies. Be sure to complete Destiny 2’s Lightfall campaign and unlock the Strand subclass.
