Some classic Battlefield 3 weapons have arrived in Battlefield 2042, as players are able to unlock the M16A3 and M60 in All Out Warfare.

Battlefield 2042 has officially kicked off its second season, “Master of Arms.” As well as a brand-new map, Specialist, and vehicles, players will also be able to get their hands on some new weapons.

Alongside Season 2’s brand-new weapons, some veteran players may be pleased to hear that the M16A3 and M60E4 from Battlefield 3 are now available to unlock in Battlefield 2042’s All Out Warfare.

Previously, players have only been able to get their hands on the M60E4 and M16A3 in the Battlefield Portal mode, however, these weapons have now been introduced into All Out Warfare.

How to unlock the M16A3 in Battlefield 2042

The M16A3 is a classic BF3 Assualt Rifle that many know and love. The M16A3 has great damage output and pretty steady recoil, with low spread and kick.

Here how players can unlock the M16A3 in Battlefield 2042:

  • Complete both to unlock M16A3:
    • Kills and Assists with Underbarrel Grenade Launchers (30)
    • Kills and Assists with the M16A3 or SFAR-M GL (100)

How to unlock the M60E4 in Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 3’s M60E4 is a light machine gun that boasts medium damage with a high fire rate. With a magazine size of 100 rounds, its only drawback is high recoil and low accuracy at range.

Here how players can unlock the M60E4 in Battlefield 2042:

  • Complete both to unlock M60E4:
    • Kills and Assists with the M60E4 or PKP-BP (100)
    • Teammates Resupplied with Ammo (100)
