While you can purchase various fantastic cosmetics in Fortnite, sometimes you might regret spending your V-Bucks on a specific item. Here’s how you can refund and return items in Fortnite.

Fortnite has a wide variety of cosmetics and items that you can purchase with V-Bucks, including popular characters like Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead and Venom.

However, sometimes you may regret spending your V-Bucks on something that you decided you no longer want.

The good news is that you can return and refund these items in Fortnite to get your V-Bucks back to use for other things.

After the v18.20 update, players who purchase an item with V-Bucks will also be given 3 Return Requests. You can use these Refund Tickets to return these items in Fortnite.

Here’s what you need to do

  1. Open the Main Menu and go to Settings
  2. Open the Account And Privacy settings page
  3. Select Submit a Request pick the item that you want want to return from the list.
  4. Hit Submit Return Request and select Yes to complete the refund

Once that’s done, you’ll see a screen telling you how many V-Bucks have been credited to your account. However, you can only return up to 3 items with Refund Tickets.

Unfortunately, you cannot get more Refund Tickets after spending the 3 that you are given. If you use one, it will refresh 365 days following the most recent Return Request that was used.

Only items purchased with V-Bucks within the last 30 days are eligible for refunds, such as outfits, back blings, harvesting tools, and gliders.

Consumable items — such as the Battle Pass, Battle Pass Levels, or Llamas — are not returnable.
