Football fans around the world are itching to get their hands on FIFA 23, the next game in EA’s long-running sports franchise. Fortunately, players can lace their boots early through EA Play. Here’s everything you need to know.

FIFA 23 will be the last game in the series to feature the FIFA branding, and fans have lofty expectations before this era ends.

The confirmation of World Cup content and the addition of crossplay support has got FIFA 23 off to a good start, but players won’t know how they feel about the game until they hit the pitch for the first time.

Luckily, for those who simply can’t wait until the worldwide release date, you can play FIFA 23 early with EA Play.

EA offers anyone who subscribes to EA Play 10 hours of unrestricted early access to all of their games, and FIFA 23 is no exception. Once the trial period has expired, the game will lock until it is released to everyone.

Whereas the closed betas or free demos will often only give players a small taste of the new FIFA, with many modes and features stripped away, early access lets you into the full game ahead of time.

Not only does it give eager fans the chance to get a headstart on their Ultimate Team, but it also gives the devs one final opportunity to fix any lingering bugs before the turnstiles open.
