How to make Black Ops 2’s Skorpion EVO in Warzone

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 SMGs were a powerful force and none more so than the Skorpion EVO. Interestingly enough, a Warzone expert has found a way to recreate the iconic weapon for players to use in Warzone Pacific.

The Skorpion was the final SMG unlocked in Black Ops 2 and it was well worth the wait in one of the most well-liked Call of Duty games of all time. The classic weapon was the SMG with the fastest rate of fire in Black Ops 2 and it brings that speed to Warzone.

You wouldn’t want to be taking long-range gunfights with the Skorpion, but it was a menace in close quarters. Thanks to a CX-9 blueprint, the same could be said about the Modern Warfare SMG as Warzone players can recreate the Skorpion to dominate Caldera and Rebirth Island.

While the Skorpion wasn’t the most powerful weapon in terms of damage, it relied on its fast rate of fire to devastate enemies. The SMG best-suited players who were adept at controlling recoil as it had a considerable kick to go along with its fast fire rate.

Warzone content creator TheKoreanSavage has previously utilized several Modern Warfare weapon blueprints to recreate classic CoD guns in Warzone. He’s turned the Grau into the HBR, the Holger into the G36, and now he has his sights set on the CX-9 Serac blueprint, which is a spitting image of the Skorpion.

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drums
  • Perk: Sleight of Hand

While you don’t necessarily need to use the Serac blueprint, it does come equipped with most of the recommended attachments. However, you will need to swap the CX-9 Tac Grip and CX-385 with Sleight of Hand and the Monolithic Suppressor.

A barrel attachment is ignored as it makes the CX-9 lose its Skorpion-like visual quality. The Sleight of Hand Perk is necessary to enable a faster reload with the 50 Round Drums equipped.

The content creator explains just how much the CX-9 replicates the Skorpion’s best-in-class fire rate, “it performs like this weapon, the fire rate is literally identical.”

If you truly want to stay faithful to creating a Skorpion EVO replica, then you’ll want to opt for the 30 Round Mags. However, unless you’re playing Solos this magazine size is not recommended.
