The Driftwood in Fortnite

One of the Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4 Week 3 Quests requires you to land at The Driftwood to collect bars, and we’ve got you covered with its location on the map.

After hopping into Fortnite, you can complete brand-new Quests every week in order to progress through the Chapter 3, Season 4 Battle Pass tiers, and this will let you unlock cosmetic skins.

A new set of Quests has arrived in Week 3, and one of them tasks you with landing at a location called The Driftwood. This is easy enough to do if you know where to find it, and we’ve got that covered.

Where to find The Driftwood in Fortnite

The Driftwood is a pirate ship that can be found hovering over the desert biome just northwest of the Flutter Barn. It arrived in the battle royale title as part of the Chapter 3, Season 4 update.

Here’s how you can complete the new Week 3 Quest:

  1. Hop into a Fortnite match
  2. Jump from the Battle Buss when you’re above Flutter Barn
  3. Dive towards The Driftwood
  4. Land on the ship and start collecting loot

Since this location isn’t mentioned by name on the Fortnite map, you can look at its exact location in the image below, courtesy of Fortnite.GG. It’s the area marked by the image of an umbrella.

We recommend landing on the lower deck of The Driftwood so that you can collect a large amount of loot extremely fast. Once you’ve opened three Chests or ammo boxes, the Quest will be marked as complete and you’ll earn 20,000 XP.

While this sounds easy, it’s worth keeping in mind that The Driftwood is a popular location for players to visit, and you should expect intense competition from opponents attempting to complete this Weekly Quest.

For that reason, it might be wise to start collecting some powerful weapons and healing items before visiting this location. You can then use the zipline to Arid Acres and use a balloon to send yourself back in the air before landing at The Driftwood.
