How to hide in a giant snowball in Fortnite: Locations & Winterfest guide
One of the Fortnite Winterfest 2022 Quests tasks you with hiding inside a giant snowball at Frosty Firs, Brutal Bastion, and Lonely Labs. Here’s how you can find these locations and get this done.
Fortnite players are celebrating the holiday season with all the new content that arrived in the Winterfest 2022 event, including Holiday Presents that you can unwrap to collect items and brand-new Quests.
You can complete Winterfest 2022 Quests in order to earn XP, including the one that requires players to hide inside a giant snowball at three different locations.
We’ll go over how you can do this quickly in Fortnite’s Winterfest 2022 event.
How to hide in a giant snowball in Fortnite
You can create a giant snowball in Fortnite by using your pickaxe to repeatedly strike the snowy terrain. If you keep doing this, a giant snowball will form and you’ll need to hide in it before it rolls away.
Here’s how you can get this done:
- Hop into Fortnite.
- Visit Frosty Firs, Brutal Bastion, or Lonely Labs.
- Strike the snow-covered ground with your pickaxe until a snowball forms.
- Interact with the snowball to hide inside.
Once you’ve done at this at one of these locations, you can visit the other two areas and repeat the process to complete this Winterfest Quest.
You can find their locations marked on the map below.
The good news is that all three of these locations are within close proximity of each other on the snow-covered northeast side of the Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 map. So you can easily rotate from one location to the next.
After you’ve successfully hidden inside a snowball at Frosty Firs, Brutal Bastion, and Lonely Labs, this Quest will be marked as complete and you will be awarded 16,000 XP for your efforts.
While this doesn’t sound particularly challenging, it’s worth keeping in mind that other players will also be visiting these locations to complete this Winterfest Quest, so be sure to keep some powerful weapons and healing items on you for protection.
