Loadouts returned in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and are a few ways to receive your custom weapons, Perks, and Equipment. Here are all the ways to get your loadout in Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded.

Loadouts are arguably what set Call of Duty: Warzone apart from other battle royale games, but the community have been split on how common Loadout Drops actually are. Some prefer the importance of ground loot and an emphasis on looting, but others would rather get their loadout straight away.

How you get your hands on these loadouts changed considerably, but dev team Raven Software made the welcome decision to bring them back to Buy Stations. Here are all of the ways you can receive your favorite Modern Warfare 2 weapons, Perks, and Equipment in Warzone 2.

Purchase a Loadout Drop grenade

Similar to the original Warzone, players can now purchase a ‘Loadout Drop Grenade’ from Buy Stations. This grants everyone on their team their full loadout, and it can’t be used by anyone else.

The Loadout Drop will cost progressively more with each squad size, and it will grant players their complete loadout including their weapons, Perks, and Equipment. Here are the prices depending on the playlist:

  • Solos: $8,000
  • Duos: $16,000
  • Trios: $24,000
  • Quads: $32,000

Buy your custom weapons at Buy Stations

While it won’t give you your full loadout, you can actually purchase your pre-built primary weapons from Shops around Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah for $2,500.

Buy Stations act the same in Warzone 2, allowing players to spend in-game cash to purchase various upgrades and redeploy fallen teammates. However, these Buy Stations also have a ‘Primary Weapon’ tab where you can purchase the primary weapon, but nothing else.

Open a Loadout Drop

Loadout Drops return in Warzone 2, but unlike the original, you can’t actually buy them. Instead, there will be a Loadout Drop Public Event, where free Loadout Drops will drop “in the middle of battle royale matches.”

These Loadout Drops aren’t assigned to individual squads either, they can be accessed by everyone, so every squad will be fighting over the same Loadout Drop.

Clear a Stronghold or Black Site

The third, and most reliable, way of getting your loadout in Warzone 2 is to clear out a Stronghold or Black Site. These are AI-infested areas that contain high-tier loot and a full loadout, including your Perks and Equipment.

The first squad to clear out a Stronghold and disarm the bomb will get their loadout and a key to a Black Site. Anyone else who arrives and clears out the Stronghold afterward will get their loadout but not a Black Site key.

Black Sites are essentially Strongholds with better loot and a “permanent Weapon Blueprint reward.”
