How to get the Plasma Cannon in Fortnite Season 7
The v17.21 update has arrived in Fortnite Season 7, and among the new changes is a brand-new Plasma Cannon. This neat pistol is part of the alien invasion, and here’s how you can get it.
It’s only been a week since Fortnite’s last major patch, but the 17.21 update is set to bring some new changes to Season 7. This includes Rift Zones, as well as an Ariana Grande concert and ICON Series skin.
The update also brings a brand-new mythical weapon known as the Plasma Cannon, which is capable of destroying alien structures almost instantly. You can now get your hands on this gun.
How to get the Fortnite Plasma Cannon
Epic Games revealed more details regarding this cool weapon in an official post on their website. The Plasma Cannon can be crafted in addition to being found on the Island.

You can collect it from IO Chests, as well as normal ones. Since the IO used Alien technology to invent it, the weapon can also be crafted by combining a Legendary Pistol with an Alien Nanite.
The IO were worried that the invading aliens might prove to be superior architects, so they invented the Plasma Cannon for the purpose of annihilating alien structures.
This weapon can fire plasma balls surrounded by an electrical dome that will trap enemies and deal repeated heavy damage to them before being impulsed back. Vehicles will be affected in the same way.
However, only one or two plasma balls can be deployed at the same time, so you’ll need to get multiple Plasma Cannons and cycle through them in order to find multiple plasma balls at once.
