One ingredient that Hogwarts Legacy players will need before they can start brewing powerful Potions is the Shrivelfig Fruit, and here’s how you can get your hands on this item.

Hogwarts Legacy players can brew different Potions that have a variety of different effects on gameplay, such as making you invisible for a short duration or turning you into a stone for increased defense.

In order to brew these Potions, you’ll need to make sure that you have all of the right ingredients on you. One of these is known as the Shrivelfig Fruit, and we’ll go over where you can get this ingredient.

Where to find Shrivelfig Fruit in Hogwarts Legacy

You can purchase the Shrivelfig Fruit from The Magic Neep store in Hogsmeade for 150 Galleons a piece. This store is located on the west side of Hogsmeade just past J. Pippin’s Potions.

Alternatively, you can choose to get yourself Shrivelfig Seeds for 450 Galleons from The Magic Neep, and these allow you to grow your own Shrivelfig plants after unlocking the Room of Requirement.

Hogwarts Legacy players can purchase in-game items from the Magic Neep.

In order to grow these plants, Hogwarts Legacy players need to first get their hands on the conjuration books for either the Medium Plant Pot or Large Plant Pot. These can both be purchased at Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade.

What does Shrivelfig Fruit do in Hogwarts Legacy?

The Shrivelfig Fruit is a main ingredient in the Thunderbrew Potion which causes storm clouds to appear and stun enemies during battles. The other ingredients for this Potion include one Leech Juice and one Stench of the Dead.

Brewing the Thunderbrew Potion will then take one minute and 30 seconds, but it will be worth the wait for the advantage that it grants you during Wizarding battles. There are also other Potions that you can brew to help you out during combat.
