Golden Lure Module and Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go Season 10 introduced players to the new Golden Lure Module with the debut of Roaming Form Gimmighoul, but many are wondering how to get them to make the most out of it.

The Rising Heroes season of Pokemon Go added Roaming Form Gimmighoul to the game alongside the new Golden Lure Modules for players to earn Gimmighoul coins. Since it’s not an item in the shop, many are wondering how to get this new Lure Module and how it works.

In this article, we’ll cover everything you need to know about the Golden Lure Modules and what they do.

How to get Golden Lure Modules in Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go players need to pair their account with their Pokemon Scarlet and Violet adventure and send multiple Postcards to get Golden Lure Modules. You can carry only one Golden Lure Module in your bag, so make sure to use it before sending more Postcards, otherwise, you’ll only get Gimmighoul coins.

“Golden Lure Modules turn PokeStops into Golden PokeStops,” reads the official Pokemon Go description. Spinning Golden PokeStops can give players Gimmighoul coins and more items than regular PokeStops. Lucky players might even encounter a Roaming Form Gimmighoul.

Golden Lure Modules last 30 minutes just like every other Lure Module, but they don’t get bonuses during events.

How to connect Pokemon Go to Scarlet & Violet

To get your hands on a Golden Lure Module, you have to follow these steps to connect your Pokemon Go account to your Pokemon Scarlet and Violet account:

  • Launch Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
  • Open the ‘X’ menu and select ‘Pokemon Portal’.
  • Select ‘Mystery Gift’.
  • Select ‘Connect to Pokemon GO’.
  • Select ‘Pair with a Pokemon Go account’.
    • Launch Pokemon Go.
    • Go to settings (the gear icon in the top right corner of the main menu).
    • Go to Connected Devices and Services.
    • Tap ‘Nintendo Switch’ (you’ll need to have Bluetooth on to find your Switch).
    • Find your Nintendo Switch and connect.
  • Select ‘Yes’ on your Nintendo Switch screen once paired.

Now you’re ready to send Postcards from Pokemon Go to Scarlet and Violet to get the Coin Bag alongside the Golden Lure Module and Gimmighoul coins. Pairing both games gives you access to more features so make sure to check our full connectivity guide for more tips.
