The 25 August update patch brought the brand-new Sprunk vs eCola event to the game, giving GTA Online players the opportunity to win a cash prize of $300,000. We’ll go over how you can sign up for this event.
How to sign up for GTA Online’s Sprunk vs eCola event
In order to sign up for the Sprunk vs eCola event, you must have a Rockstar Games’ Social Club account. Simple head to the Social Club homepage and sign up with your email or by linking your PSN or Xbox live account.
Here’s how to sign up for GTA Online’s Sprunk vs eCola event:
- Sign to the Rockstar Social Club website with your account
- Visit either the Sprunk Official Crew or eCola Official Crew
- Click Join to add yourself to one of the two crews
You can pick whichever brand you like, and your choice will determine what cosmetic items will be awarded to you at the end of the Sprunk vs eCola event.
How to play GTA Online’s Sprunk vs eCola event
For the next three weeks, participating players can cast votes for their crew by drinking either Sprunk or eCola from vending machines, Convenience Stores, and Snack Bowls. Each drink will count as one vote so be sure to pound as many cans as you can.
If you’re worried about frequently wasting money by repeatedly purchasing either drink, then the good news is that both beverages are available completely free during this event. So drink up and help your favorite brand win.
Doing so will help build up your Crew Rank, allowing you to apply Crew colors and the Sprunk or eCola brand logos to your vehicles and clothing. Once the votes are counted on September 14, players with the winning brand will get new clothing and a GTA $300K bonus.
