How to get Fortnite Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair cards

The world of Fortnite is joining the popular collectible card game Magic: The Gathering, and here’s how you can get your hands on the Wizards of the Coast’s Secret Lair Fortnite cards.

Fortnite has become known for its wide assortment of major crossovers. Epic Games have collaborated with DC, Marvel, and Street Fighter, along with various other popular franchises.

Now, the world of Fortnite is crossing over with the popular collectible card game Magic: The Gathering as part of the Wizards of the Coast’s Secret Lair. You’ll soon be able to get your hands on some limited-time Fortnite cards.

How to get Fortnite Secret Lair cards in Magic: The Gathering

This crossover was announced during the Magic Showcase 2021 streaming event. Magic: The Gathering will now have cards featuring characters from the worlds of Fortnite and Street Fighter in what will be one of the year’s biggest gaming crossovers.

The Wizards of the Coast’s Secret Lair set consists of print-on-demand cards that you can get for a limited time only. However, these Fortnite-themed cards will be reprints of older cards but with exclusive new art.

Product architect Mark Heggen made it clear that the team was looking to do “something quicker, or lighter, or experimental” by introducing the world of Fortnite in the Secret Lair program.

So far, we don’t have any confirmed release date for the Fortnite Secret Lair cards, nor do we know the price. We’ll be sure to update this piece with that information once it becomes known.

While fans won’t need to purchase these Fortnite Secret Lair cards to stay up-to-date with the current meta of Magic: The Gathering, owning them will certainly be exciting if you’re a collector.
