Skywalker week is here in Fortnite, and Epic Games have unvaulted Lightsabers. If you want to get your hands on this powerful Star Wars weapon then here’s what you need to do.
Lightsabers have also been unvaulted after the update, and these will come in handy when defeating enemies and completing Skywalker Week Quests. We’ll go over how to get a Lightsaber in Fortnite.
How to get a Lightsaber in Fortnite
Lightsabers can be collected as floor loot or by searching through Imperial Chests around the map. Opening these Chests will grant you Luke’s Blue Lightsaber from A New Hope and the Green Lightsaber from Return of the Jedi.
Imperial Chests can be found at Stormtrooper Checkpoints across the Island. To make things a little easier, their locations have been marked on the map below, courtesy of Fortnite.GG.
You can also collect Darth Vader’s Lightsaber by defeating him in battle. In addition, you can visit Stormtroopers on the map and complete bounties for them. They also sell E-11 Blaster Rifles for Gold Bars.
How to use Lightsabers in Fortnite
Once you’ve got your hands on a Lightsaber, you can press the ‘shoot’ button to strike enemies with it in melee combat. You can also block attacks by holding down the ‘aim’ button.
After you’ve taken down Darth Vader, you can throw his Lightsaber at others by aiming and pressing the ‘shoot’ button. This is a great way to slice through multiple opponents while keeping your distance.
That covers everything that you need to know about how to get Lightsabers in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4. Be sure to hop into the game and try out this weapon before Skywalker Week comes to an end.
