Fortnite content creator Ali “SypherPK” Hassan has discovered a clever trick using the Burst Quad Launcher to turn yourself into a mini-airstrike in Season 5.

Fortnite Season 5 gives players a vast arsenal of weaponry to help secure a Victory Royale, but some players are devising clever ways to take the weapons even further.

SypherPK has been a prominent member of the Fortnite community since its release. Being nicknamed the ‘Trap God’ for popularizing using traps as offensive tools, Sypher has paved the way for both fun and meta-defining strategies.

His latest trick pairs the Exotic Burst Quad Launcher with some other gadgets to turn yourself into a mini-airstrike.

How to create a mini-airstrike in Fortnite

The Burst Quad Launcher returned to Fortnite in the 15.30 update, and you’ll need to get your hands on it to pull off this trick.

You can purchase it for 600 Gold Bars from Fishstick who will be found in either Coral Castle or the restaurant at Craggy Cliffs.

If you don’t fancy spending the Gold Bars, you can always choose to kill him instead.

Once you have the Burst Quad Launcher, you need to find Bouncers and Shockwave Grenades. You should be able to just find these through looting or eliminating opponents.

With these three items in your inventory, you’re ready to rain hell on anyone coming your way.

Once you’ve spotted an enemy, build yourself into a box with the Bouncer on the floor. Throw a Shockwave Grenade at the ground and you’ll be propelled high into the air.

When in the air, fire the Burst Quad Launcher down on the enemy below, and they won’t know what hit them.

You can see SypherPK pulling off the trick perfectly in the video below.

As the enemy looks at your box waiting for you to peak or build-out, they won’t expect you to soar above their head and you’ll be able to land several rockets on them. Even if you don’t get the elimination, you’ll have closed the gap and they’ll be scrambling to build and put shield back on.

Fortnite is all about clever strategies to outwit your opponents, and this trick is sure to take them by surprise.
