How to complete Overwatch 2 ‘Witch’s Brew’ Halloween Terror Challenge
Overwatch 2 celebrates the Halloween season with the new Halloween Terror 2022 event, and here’s a quick guide to help you complete the ‘Witch’s Brew ‘ objective in Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride.
Seasonal events always come around and Blizzard continues to make a concerted effort to ensure these special occasions are celebrated, continuing with Overwatch 2.
The free-to-play hero shooter is well into its stride and Halloween Terror 2022 represents the first holiday-themed event
It has plenty of fun rewards and prizes for dedicated players willing to complete challenges, so without further ado, here’s how you can successfully tick off the Witch’s Brew challenge.
Witch’s Brew challenge in Overwatch 2 Halloween Terror
The curious task asks players to “Uncover the Fate of a Terror Past in a Hidden Corner of Adlersbrunn,” and to do this, you need to play the Junkenstein’s Revenge: Wrath of the Bride LTM and find a secret space.
Here’s a quick rundown of what you need to do in Overwatch 2:
- Load into a game of the LTM.
- Make your way through the level until you reach the castle gate and need to ‘Defeat Castle Guards’.
- Once you’ve done that, instead of carrying on, head into the water on the left.
- You should see a small opening by some rocks illuminated by fire from the inside.
- Head inside and the challenge will show as being completed!

So what exactly do you get for your efforts? In addition to the usual XP, you’ll also receive an “It’s Always The Widow” voice line for one of the game’s newest hero selections – Sojourn.
Even though it can be tricky if you don’t know where to look, the Witch’s Brew challenge in Overwatch 2 is fairly easy all things considered.
