How to collect three alien devices & activate the countermeasure device in Fortnite
Here’s how you can complete the Fortnite Season 7 Week 12 Quest that has you collect three alien devices and activate the countermeasure device underneath Corny Complex.
Fortnite Season 7 will be coming to an end soon, so you have a limited amount of time to progress through the Battle Pass, and unlock in-game skins like Superman and Wonder Woman.
Week 12 has new Legendary Quests that you can complete to earn Battle Stars, and this guide will help you complete the one that has you collect three alien devices before activating the countermeasure device underneath Corny Complex.
Where to find three alien devices in Fortnite
The NPC Doctor Slone has come up with a way to fight back against the aliens on Fortnite Island. You’ll need to activate this countermeasure device to send the invaders back to their home.
This won’t work until you collect three alien devices first. These resemble purple orbs and can be found at a few select alien biomes across the map. Once you get these locations, you’ll be able to spot them easily.
Here are all the alien biomes where you can find the devices:
- Scenic Spot, towards the north of Corny Complex.
- East of the Aftermath.
- East of Pleasant Park
After you’ve collected the three alien devices, just make your way to the IO base at Corny Complex. The Countermeasure device is underneath this area, and you can activate it by interacting with the three computers on crates.
Just keep an eye out for enemy players and IO Guards that will attack you once you enter the rea. After you’ve activated the Countermeasure Device, you’ll net yourself 30,000 XP.
