How to battle a Fashion Challenger in Pokemon Go Fashion Week
The Fashion Week event has returned to Pokemon Go with new quests and rewards for Trainers. Here’s how you can catch the newly released fashionable Pokemon and battle Fashion Challengers.
The Fashion Week event is back in Pokemon Go with Fashion Challengers, fashionable Pokemon, new Field Research tasks, and a lot more. Trainers can complete a ton of new challenges and get their hands on Absol, Croagunk, and Diglett wearing hats and goggles.
In order to progress, you’ll have to face Fashion Challengers who have Pokemon like Furfrou, Mareanie, and Diglett on their teams.

How to battle Fashion Challengers in Pokemon Go Fashion Week
You can battle three Fashion Challengers in Pokemon Go after completing certain Fashion Week quests. Do note that the event ends on October 3, 2022.

Here’s a list of all Fashion Week quests in the game with which you can unlock encounters with Fashion Challengers:
Part 1/6
- Use 3 Berries to help catch Pokémon – 1 Lure Module
- Catch 5 Pokémon – 5 Poké Balls
- Take 5 snapshots of wild Pokémon – 5 Nanab Berries
The reward for completing these quests is an encounter with a Quirky Challenger.
Part 2/6
- Battle a Fashion Challenger – 1500 XP
The reward for completing this part is an encounter with Costume Croagunk
Part 3/6
- Make 5 Great Curveball Throws – 10 Great Balls
- Take a snapshot of Mareanie in the wild – 10 Razz Berries
- Catch a Furfrou – 25 Furfrou Candy
The reward for completing these quests is an encounter with a Rugged Challenger
Part 4/6
- Battle a Fashion Challenger – 2000 XP
The reward for completing this part is an encounter with Costume Diglett
Part 5/6
- Take 10 snapshots of wild Pokémon – 2 Silver Pinap Berries
- Use 10 Berries to help catch Pokémon – 10 Pinap Berries
- Make 3 Excellent Curveball Throws – 25 Great Balls
- Power up Pokémon 10 times – 20 Ultra Balls
- Catch 15 Pokémon – 2 Golden Razz Berries
The reward for completing these quests is a battle with a Cool Challenger
Part 6/6
- Battle a Fashion Challenger – 3000 XP
The reward for completing this part is 10,000 Stardust and encounter with Costume Absol
How to beat Fashion Challengers in Pokemon Go
To be fair, Fashion Challengers in Pokemon Go have really weak lineups that feature Pokemon with less than 500 CP. Even beginners should be able to beat them with the right counters.
