The 24-hour peak of active FIFA 23 players on Steam as of January 9 is approximately 88,656. Furthermore, the 30-day peak for the game is at 109,382 for Steam, which is pretty high considering this is comprised of only PC players. Finally, the 30-day average clocks in at around 59,312 players.
As it turns out, the all-time peak players number matches the 30-day peak, which means it was achieved within the past 30 days. This signifies that there is still a ton of interest in FIFA 23 well into January, months after its release.
Unfortunately, there is no way to know the exact number of players on console, but given that the PC player numbers trended upward from November through to January, it’s safe to expect the same occurred on console.
FIFA 23 dropped on September 27, 2022, and experienced a major dip in average players during November. However, the number stabilized and then surged throughout December likely due to excellent Ultimate Team promos and World Cup content.
