GTA Trilogy San Andreas gameplay leak shows off new weapon wheel & minimap
GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition is set to breathe new life into three classic Grand Theft Auto titles. A new San Andreas gameplay leak has given fans a glimpse at the new updates, including a modern weapon wheel and minimap.
GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition is one of the year’s most anticipated releases, and fans can’t wait to get their hands on these modern remasters of gaming classics.
One of the things that’s most intriguing is how the legendary open-world games will be changed to suit modern audiences.
Well, a leak from the remastered GTA: San Andreas has shown off the fresh visuals, as well as a new weapon wheel and minimap.
Reddit user Zombathon67890 posted a video of leaked gameplay that reveals that the remastered San Andreas will feature an entirely new weapon wheel and minimap from when it first launched in 2004.
The features will be familiar to GTA V players, as they appear to have been plucked straight from the most recent game in the series and dropped into the old faithful.
Just from the screenshots, it’s easy to see that the minimap looks far cleaner and brighter, making getting from A to B much more straightforward.
Fans will also be relieved to see that the weapon wheel that has become a staple of newer games has been implemented. Gone are the days of blindly scrolling through your guns only to annoyingly skip past the RPG.
This footage also shows off the updated graphics, which look night and day from the original PS2 game.
You can also see the improved draw distances in full effect, with all of downtown San Andreas visible on the horizon.
The leaked gameplay only shows the new version of San Andreas, but the weapon wheel and new minimap are set to be added to GTA III and Vice City to make each game feel fresh.
We’ll have to wait until the full GTA Trilogy package drops to see every modern touch added by Rockstar, but with the digital version releasing on Friday, November 11, 2021, the wait is almost over.
