Zenless Zone Zero is adding a fresh storyline with update 1.1, and players will get the chance to pull for new Agents like Jane and QingYi.

The mysterious Jane Doe will play a key role in a new Special Episode, and players are already planning on adding her to their teams thanks to her extreme speed.

Here’s everything we know about Jane Doe so far, a mysterious character set to debut very soon in ZZZ.

Jane release date in Zenless Zone Zero

Jane will debut on September 4, 2024, with phase two of the version 1.1 update. She’ll headline her banner right after QingYi’s.

Who is Jane Doe?

Jane Doe is part of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team. However, the new ZZZ storyline depicts her as a criminal since she’s an undercover Agent trying to take down a criminal faction, so players expect many twists and turns during her Special Episode.

We don’t have many more details about Jane Doe, but leaked animations revealed her using mouse-like features to strike enemies with extreme speed.

Jane leaked abilities in Zenless Zone Zero

• Blade Dance (Basic Attack) – Attacks forward up to six times, dealing Physical DMG.
• Frenzy – When Jane uses one of her abilities and deals damage to enemies, Frenzy Flow accumulates. When it reaches its maximum, Jane enters the Frenzy state where her Anomaly Buildup increases by 20%. Additionally, the ATK increases based on her Anomaly Mastery. When a move is used during the Frenzy state, it deals damage and consumes Frenzy Flow
• Sachoff Jump (Basic Attack) – Launches a rapid series of attacks forward, followed by a finishing blow, dealing Physical DMG.
• Afterimage (Dodge) – A rapid dodge that makes Jane invulnerable. She has an extra dodge and can pass through enemies while in the Frenzy state.
  • Blade Jump (Dash Attack) – Slashes forward, dealing Physical DMG.
  • Virtual Dash (Dash Attack) – While in Frenzy state, performs three rapid forward slashes, dealing Physical DMG.
  • Shadow (Dodge Counter) – Launches multiple slashes at the enemy in front, then stabs downward, dealing Physical DMG.
• Air Grab (Special Attack) – Leaps into the air, kicks forward continuously, then sweeps horizontally, dealing Physical DMG.
  • Air Sweep (EX Special Attack) – Leaps into the air, kicks forward multiple times, then sweeps horizontally, dealing massive Physical DMG.
• Sin Blossoms (Chain Attack) – Slashes enemies in front, dealing massive Physical DMG. When this move is activated, Jane enters the Frenzy state.
• Final Act (Ultimate) – Slashes enemies in front and launches a finishing blow, dealing massive Physical DMG.

Jane is an S-Rank Anomaly Physical Agent in Zenless Zone Zero, and the leaked abilities tease her as a very fast unit. She can apply Assault on enemies quickly to finish them off in no time. Additionally, she has special Dodges like Ellen, making her a great companion to other fast-paced characters.

Sharpened Stinger

When unleashing Dash Attack, gain a stack of [Hunting Intent]. Every stack increases the wearer’s Physical DMG by up to 30%. This effect can only be triggered once every 0.5 seconds.

Upon entering combat or performing a Perfect Dodge, immediately gain three stacks of [Hunting Intent]. At maximum stacks, Anomaly Mastery and All-Type Anomaly Buildup Rate greatly increase.
