Both the Avatar movies and games had us wait for more than a decade for a follow-up, as Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is only the second official installment following 2009’s Avatar: The Game.
Everything that happens in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is canon to the original Avatar world. Given the significance it has to lore and how long we had to wait, plenty of Avatar fans would want to continue the journey as Na’vi, even after completing the base game.
So here’s whether Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has a DLC planned.
Will Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora have DLC?
Yes, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is confirmed to receive multiple DLCs.
As announced by Ubisoft, the post-launch plans for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora include two new story expansions:
- The Sky Breaker — Scheduled for Summer 2024
- Secrets of the Spires — Scheduled for Fall 2024
The DLCs are part of the Season Pass, which is available for Gold Edition and Ultimate Edition players and can also be bought separately. The Season Pass also contains a bonus quest: Familiar Echoes.
It is confirmed that both of the DLCs will come with new areas to explore, but the finer details of both of these DLCs haven’t yet been revealed by Ubisoft. What we do know is the general synopsis, which is, like always, fighting against the greedy RDAs. We’ll likely hear more from the developers as the release date gets closer.
